Criteria for Participation
First-Time Students
- High school GPA > 2.75, Math and Science GPA > 2.75
- National SAT Math > 500, SAT Verbal > 500
- Must be admitted and enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more semester credit hours) at Southern Polytechnic State University
- Placed into Collegiate Math
- Plans to major in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) subjects
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America
Currently Enrolled Students
- Declared STEM major
- Cumulative GPA > 2.0 (Hope Scholar GPA > 3.0 preferred)
- Major GPA > 2.5 (or Math/Science GPA > 2.5)
- Full-time student status (12 or more semester credit hours)
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America
